Court Theatre, a professional theatre on the campus of the University of Chicago, is guided by the mission to discover the power of classic theatre. The Wall Street Journal called Court “the most consistently excellent theatre in America”.

Court Theatre has many offers for UChicago students!

  • Starting one hour before evening performances, UChicago students get free tickets to Court Theatre! Things to know:

    • Only one ticket per student with valid ID (subject to availability)

    • Students must present student ID at the Box Office Window to receive their ticket.

  • UChicago students wishing to reserve seats in advance can purchase tickets for $20 for any performance. Things to know:

    • Only one ticket per student with valid ID (subject to availability)

    • Students must present student ID at the Box Office Window to receive their ticket.

  • UChicago Student Groups of 10 or more can get tickets for $15 each. For information about reserving these tickets call the Box Office at (773) 753-4472 or fill out their groups form to have someone contact you.

  • They also offer a UChicago Student Subscription for only $15 per play.
