For more than 50 years, the Gene Siskel Film Center has welcomed cinephiles and curious newcomers alike to experience a curated collection of the world’s most compelling films. The Siskel Film Center hosts over 1,600 movie screenings, 200 filmmaker appearances, and multiple film festivals every year, and each screening is selected for its unique voice, artistry, and power to transport viewers into new realms of experience. From groundbreaking independent films to acclaimed classics, we bring you the best cinema from around the globe, right in the heart of Chicago.

  • Students are eligible to receive $8 tickets for regular film programming and a $5 discount on the purchase of a Gene Siskel Film Center membership. Discounts valid in person at the Siskel Film Center box office, with current student ID.

  • Individual annual memberships are available for $60, and dual memberships are only $100. Film Center members enjoy deeply discounted admission to movies, free subscription to the Gazette (the Film Center’s monthly newsletter), access to member exclusive presale and film pass opportunities, $1 off of any size popcorn, and other special concessions discounts throughout the year.
