Lyric Opera of Chicago, founded in 1954, is renowned internationally for its artistic excellence. Lyric’s eight-opera season starts in late September and concludes in late March, offering 81 performances of both opera classics and 20th-century repertoire.

Lyric Opera of Chicago offers $25 tickets(including fees) to students who register online as NEXT members. Things to know:

  • Students can register with the NEXT program online with their student ID

  • Once students register, they will be sent promo codes and dates as they become available throughout the season.

  • Students registered in the NEXT program will also receive invites to 2-4 College Nights throughout the season. On these nights the $25 student ticket will also include a reception, games, giveaways, and a speaker.
