The Renaissance Society is a contemporary art museum located on the 4th floor of Cobb Hall on the University of Chicago’s campus. The museum presents four exhibits a year by artists from Chicago, the United States, and around the world, often presenting new work created specifically for the exhibition.  Students have on-site access to an important collection of contemporary international arts catalogs and video library (appointment required).

  • Their gallery and events are free and open to the public.

  • In person, UChicago students receive a 10% discount on all Renaissance Society publications.
