Each year, the Smart Museum of Art curates a stellar line-up of art exhibitions, innovative programs, and cultural research to engage the life and mind of UChicago students. The Smart is also home to a permanent collection made up of a diverse range of art from across the globe, histories, and mediums.

From creative student commissions and the annual Art to Live With program, to art-oriented research opportunities through the Feitler Center for Academic Inquiry and paid museum internships, the Smart has been a creative, intellectual hub for UChicago students for half a century now.
