The Smart Museum is home to thought-provoking special exhibitions and a broad-based collection representing Western and Asian traditions from antiquity to the present day. Outside the classroom, the Smart engages with UChicago students to create a vibrant and creative community on campus. Admission and programs are always free.

• UChicago students become SmartPartners for free through the Arts Pass program. Benefits include 10% off purchases at the Smart Café and Shop as well as double discounts throughout the year. ArtsPass benefits also include a range of free inspirational art-looking and art-making programs—from late-night study breaks in the galleries to festive parties— on Thursday nights throughout the school year.
