Join the ARCH studio course Water’s Edge for an exploration along the north branch of Chicago’s River. We’ll walk through various parks and open spaces along the river where the north branch splits off from the channel, crossing it several times at different points to see the landscapes and blocks of Albany Park built up along its edge. Casey Breen will lead a brief landscape sketching workshop at the beginning of the exploration, and we’ll stop at several points along the way to observe and draw. Sketchbooks and drawing media, lunch and transportation will be provided.
