Driehaus Museum celebrated Louis Comfort Tiffany’s impact on Chicago art and architecture with its exhibition, Eternal Light: The Sacred Stained Glass of Louis Comfort Tiffany (September 7, 2019-March 8, 2020). The corresponding interactive self-guided architectural tour explores Tiffany commissions from Hyde Park to Evanston, including the Chicago Cultural Center, the Marquette Building, Macy’s on State Street, Second Presbyterian Church, and the Levere Memorial Temple. While making your way through Chicago’s Tiffany Trail, you will learn about the patrons who commissioned the projects, the technologies used to realize the designs, and how each Tiffany work is incorporated into the architectural design of each building.
