Arts Pass Exclusive: Ruth Duckworth: Kiln Crawl in partnership with the Smart Museum

This event is a partnership between The Logan Center and the Smart museum to allow for student engagement around the Smart Museum exhibition; Ruth Duckworth: Life As A Unity.

Heating clay to life, kiln’s are an essential in the ceramic making process. Join fellow UChicago students and Department of Visual Arts Teaching Artist Amber Ginsburg on a guided bus tour to explore the history and function of Kiln’s on the Southside of Chicago in connection. This is an opportunity to commune with local practitioners and learn about the diversity and nuance of ceramic practice from studio to studio.
