Remedios Varo: Science Fictions

In partnership with El Cafecito, ArtsPass presents its annual fall event at the Art Institute of Chicago! Join us for this extraordinary evening and immerse yourself in the museum’s current exhibition, Remedios Varo: Science Fictions, the first in the Art Institute’s history dedicated to a woman and Mexican Surrealist painter.

After exploring the exhibition on your own, learn more about the show from the museum’s assistant director of gallery activation, Kristen French, during a special activation in the museum's Modern Wing.

Reserve here to ensure that you have a place on the bus between UChicago and the Art Institute. The event is free with UCID l; register at the UChicago Night welcome table in AIC’s Modern Wing lobby between 5-7:30pm.

  • Bus #1 Departs: 4:30pm from Logan Center, 915 E 60th St

  • Bus #2 Departs: 4:45pm from Logan Center, 915 E 60th St

  • Bus Returns: pick-up 8pm at AIC’s Modern Wing entrance 159 E Monroe St, for return to Logan Center
