Architecture Study Experience, Chicago

Our goal at Architecture Study Experience, Chicago, is to bring together UChicago students interested in architecture. Whether you want to become an architect, or just like looking at buildings, we want to create a space for people to engage with architecture and other architecture-interested individuals in a variety of ways. 

Festival of the Arts

The mission of FOTA is to promote art and creativity at The University of Chicago by bringing together the diversity of campus—artists and audiences—through on-campus events that advocate arts creation and appreciation. FOTA contributes to campus in multiple ways. FOTA fosters a community of artists and individuals who are art-inclined. FOTA unites visual artists with performance artists to create dynamic and unique creations.

Game Design

UChicago Game Design is UChicago's home for discussing, learning, and practicing game design. We invite creative minds across campus to engage with both theoretical and practical game design principles, with events ranging from critical analyses to focused design workshops to solo and collaborative development opportunities. We strive to cover a diverse range of design areas and to accommodate every creator, from writers and musicians to graphic artists and programmers.

InstallART

InstallART is a new RSO focused on installing large scale collaborative artwork around campus. Follow us to find out about where and when we'll have installations up, and to be apart of the creation process.

MODA

MODA is the University of Chicago's premier student fashion organization. Since 2003, MODA has played an influential role in shaping and defining the presence of fashion on campus through our Design, Magazine, Blog, and Executive Board branches. Partnering with local designers, boutiques, and industry professionals, MODA strives to connect the University of Chicago campus to the greater Chicago fashion scene.

Outside the Lines

Outside the Lines is a student-run fine arts organization at the University of Chicago. The group imbricates both on-campus figure drawing sessions and off-campus artist critiques, exhibitions, and socials that aim to build a social platform in which student artists at both the BA and MFA level are encouraged to share their practice and receive feedback on current projects.

The Glass Eyeball

Our goal is to provide students with a platform for artistic exploration in photography and to connect students who have this passion. We intend to help members of The Glass Eyeball by teaching students a variety of photographic techniques through workshops, expanding student access to photographic and development equipment, and providing a community and space in which students can share their photographic work.

UChicago Ceramics is a great way for students of all experience levels to try out ceramics!
